Have you completely stopped going out to eat or ordering takeaways?

Its probably ghost kitchens, as in, the food is all coming from basically the same place but they sell under a bunch of different resteraunt names on delivery apps because it works better for the algorithm and they don't need to rely on return sales so they can totally drop the quality control.

Did you have cooking lessons at school?

My school sucked. They made us have PE and food tech on the same day, and never provided any lockers, twice a week. So was bogged down with unnecessary amounts of bags and supplies all the time which would constantly get lost or forgotten about.

Where in the UK would you say people are the most friendly? Canadian girl who simply misses this aspect of Canada 🤷‍♀️

Brighton is great. I grew up in London and moved to Brighton when I was 17 and I could never imagine moving back to London, it feels so aggressive in comparison. There's loads of different people and stuff going on in Brighton all the time too, the difference is nobody is an asshole about it and it moves at its own pace. Busy, but still slow, if that makes sense.

Was it normal in your household to witness/expect your parents to be completely drunk on weekend?

I can count the number of times I've seen my parents drunk on one hand. But I will recognize that my family is a British outlier. They regularly smoked pot though. I can't say I ever really noticed a difference between sober parents and stoned parents, not until I was old enough to recognize the nuances of stoned behaviour anyway. Its not like when people are drunk and they become completely different people.
