1440p IPS or OLED monitor

I built my pc about a year ago now with a 5070ti, 9800x3d and 32gb ddr5 ram however I’ve been running a 1080p IPS 240hz monitor. I obviously want to upgrade to take more advantage of my pc but I don’t know whether to go for OLED or ips. I find it convenient how I’ve never had too worry about my monitor in terms of burn in, being able to leave it switched on if I leave the room, or stay in Google for a long time with a static UI. For reference, I play games most of the time. When I have nothing to play or I’m bored, I go on Google to watch YouTube videos or scroll some random websites. I also play chess a decent amount on chess.com which I know has a lot of static UI. In terms of games I mostly play random non competitive games but I also play some competitive shooter games a lot of the time.
Overall I’m trying to ask if in my case it’s worth it going for OLED due to the burn in risk or if I should just stick to IPS and enjoy the 1440p upgrade.

Only true reason aside from actual black loading screens to get OLED is if you want ultrawide, as they don’t make them in IPS anymore. I have the first gen Alienware UW next to a pretty nice IPS UW and it’s a wash, with my HDR settings and its attempt to look more realistic I guess the OLED can even look worse. It’s a bitch to mess with.
The 3rd gen panels are definitely noticeably prettier than mine but come at cost. If 27” I’d just stick to IPS for the deal and never worrying, if you want OLED I’d go Ultrawide to make it much more of a grand upgrade and worth your while.

Mini led or OLED monitor, sorry Ik some like ips but I don't at all. I used an Ips monitor for a bit and switched to my mini led tv and got rid on the ips after using that. Then got an OLED and love it, they have improved burn-in risks and I have zero issues after several thousand hours on mine.

if you're ok with the steep price difference, 1440p OLED would def be the way to go, but if your conditions are 1080p OLED and 1440p IPS, I think you should prioritize the higher resolution first since your setup will run most games well in 1440p.

There is a lot of anti burn in features for newer oleds that heavily mitigate the issue.
