Would this be a good job for someone getting their masters degree online?

I was recently laid off from my teaching position due to downsizing after I had started my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling online. I'm pretty burnt out on education and don't really want to continue down that path. Additionally, in \~18 months, I will start my practicum (counseling internship) which will be a full time job. So, I just need something to put food on the table for the next 18 months. I have the opportunity to get a class B CDL for free at a local community college in my area. My thought was I could get my CDL, find a local delivery kind of job in my area and just do that until my practicum starts. Is that a realistic option? What am I failing to consider? I'd appreciate any thoughts, advice, or feedback. Thanks!

cdl b local work can be decent short term, just know it’s physical, weird hours, lowish pay. interview a few drivers first. finding anything decent now is rough
