What is a good amount monthly to live in London?

I have an offer that will get me 5k a month. This is after tax. Is this comfortable to live with 2 kids near London and commute in?

taking at face value, that's livable but tight. 2 kids - what age? good schools make for expensive housing. is co-parent in the frame and contributing? childcare in se eng is very expensive.. how far/ long are you going to commute? do you get wfh?

I'm on £15k a month after tax with no kids and I live outside London (Hertfordshire). I guess it depends what lifestyle you want.
