ATM fee for foreign debit cards

Hi!
Do you know if there are banks that do not charge a fee for ATM withdrawal?
I'm planning to travel a few countries in the Balkans but I'm on a budget and I want to minimise banking fees.
I have a debit card from a major bank in my country that can be used internationally. I don't have Wise/Revolut.
Thank you so much for your help :)

Bring cash with you and exchange it in the country you go to. usually you get better rates and little to no fees

I don't want to carry too much cash on me though

You’ll lose a lot of money using the bank’s rates. Also check with your bank if withdrawing money abroad has a fee, I know you said it’s international but that doesn’t necessarily mean free cash withdrawals outside your country of residence

Thank you for your feedback!
My bank charges a flat rate- so I can withdraw a bigger sum and it'll be okay. I'm just worried about the foreign bank fees...so I'm wondering if there are foreign banks that waive this fee or if they have a lower fee.

Depends on what country and what bank your card is issued from. Nobody can tell you if you’ll be charged fees or how to avoid them without knowing that information.

It depends where do you have open bank account, if there is local franchise, it can be free, otherwise usually 5€ plus 1-2%
