Bike Locking Advice

Wondering if this is a secure enough lock to prevent theft? it’s on my front porch which is on a high traffic street. Is there a better connection point or way to lock this? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

No, not if the bike is visible from any passing roadways. No lock can stop an angle grinder, and that lock looks quite weak

Disc brake lock

High end Kryptonite’s are great startand two disc brake lock would seal the deal. I would never leave my bike in a low traffic are for more than 20 minutes

Doesn’t matter what kinda lock you have, someone’s gonna be desperate enough for it and the tools to steal it will always be cheaper than the bike. Invest in a nice battery powered or hardwired camera and lock the bike near it, you don’t need some crazy expensive lock because an angle grinder is $100 at the thrift store

A noticeable security cam pointing right at it (even a fake one). I find it humorous when shady people do a cartoonish double take whenever they see my cameras capturing them.

If it’s on a high traffic street it really should be brought inside.

I lock mine to the bed of my truck and have truckers and cameras

Sorry if it's not the advice you're looking for but no reasonable amount of locks (or kind) is going to prevent theft for a vehicle like this. Someone will eventually show up with an angle grinder when you're not around and it will cut just about anything.
I personally stopped buying locks at all because I store my bikes in a locked secure area, and I don't let them out of my sight otherwise.

I got a litelock X1 cuz it has the highest angle grinder cut time on the market other than the D1000. And it didn't cost 500$.
Nothing is going to prevent theft of an item like this. All you can do is make it as hard, annoying, and time consuming as possible so they hopefully move on.
Unfortunately if you're going to continue to secure on that post it really limits your lock choices.

How close is your bedroom? Would you hear an angle grinder at night? If not, no lock will protect your bike

Best is out of site out of mind to be honest , i wouldnt want to advertise having a nice bike at all as someone may take it off you once its unlocked as they simply know its there.
Try a rear garden column if there is one or a bike cover at least if it has to stay there, if you can put it inside I would , good luck happy riding

It’s secure enough to prevent the low hanging fruit variety of thief (looks like they’d also have to go through a fence?)
It won’t stop a pro but it’ll stop the grab-n-go’s
