Nice yeah I've heard this, scope is good but it really looks cheap with the top rail on it. I think if you covered it up with a Lil pistol dot it would look nicer

The good news is the top rail itself is removable. But yeah it kind of looks like an airsoft optic for sure. But no one buys Primary Arms stuff to "flex on the poors", so oh well.

Do we like this more than the Micro prisms? I''ve got a Nova (love it) on my AR right now but my setup is too heavy, so I'm looking to cut weight and make it a bit less bulky.

Micro would definitely check the box to cut weight/bulk. These are on sale for $231.99. I prefer the full size as it has more forgiving eye relief in my experience. Plus it's built better if you're throwing the rifle around. I don't like the way the micro offsets from the mount. Either option is a solid choice though!

Consider that your nova doesn't account for the weight of the mount, and that mount probably doesn't have a way of putting a piggyback on it easily. So it's more like comparing 18 oz to 22ish oz.

But yeah, she's heavy.

Yeah it's gives ACOG vibes but with cleaner lines. I just picked up a 3x micro from PA (since they are so cheap right now), and am now agonizing over whether to grab a 5x + the Fotonika mount and leave the 3x in the drawer for the next build!

Yup they have a 3x mount (and the 5x mount can be also used with the 3x micro), but if I'm going to add a red dot I prefer 5x for the main optics. To me 3x is a good middle ground that avoids the need for a separate 1x dot.
