So I already have a parts list, but I am willing to change it if needed, or if someone has any ideas, and I also have access to a Microcenter
here are the specsAMD Ryzen 5 5500, Gigabyte B550 Eagle WiFi6 AM4, G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4-3200 Kit, Computer Build Bundle forn200 from micrto center
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5050 WINDFORCE OC 8G Graphics Card, 8GB 128-bit GDDR6, PCIe 5.0, WINDFORCE Cooling System, GV-N5050WF2OC-8GD Video Card for 290, Apevia ATX-GX650W Galaxy 650W 80+ Gold Certified Active PFC ATX Semi-Modular Quiet Gaming Power Supply for 55 from Amazon
ADATA SX6000LNP 1TB PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 Solid State Drive for 133 from Walmart
Phanteks XT Pro, Mid-Tower Gaming Chassis, High Airflow Performance Mesh, Tempered Glass Window, 1x M25-120 Black fan included, Black from newegg for 60
My total budget is around 800 with tax
and the current cost with tax is about 794
I am going to swap my current CPU with the 5500 and keep my current one for my build, which is a Ryzen 5600 G
then sell my pc for around 400 dollars to my brother
then i'm going to sell a old lap top that is around 350 and I have 110 of free money i can use
i'm trying to figure out if i should change my part list and also need ideas for selling the laptop i currently am planning on selling it on Facebook Marketplace. What should I do

Why don't you go with the 7500x3d combo deal , that is a much smarter deal tbh. You get 16 gb ddr5 stick , b850 mobo and a much much superior AM5 cpu for 100 bucks more.
Or did you already buy the AM4 build ?

I haven’t bought it yet but I’m trying to keep the price under or around 800$

I mean sticking with AM4 especially on a 5500 or 5600G is not a smart idea considering both have no pcie 4.0 and have half the l3 cache. Addionally performing also worse. Less features too. If possible try fitting it.
Especially the 7500x3d allowing you for AM5 build and for future upgrades. Addionally the high amount of l3 cache is another benefit. You would make a big mistake tbh if you don't try getting this bundle : https://www.microcenter.com/product/5007384/amd-ryzen-5-7500x3d,-asrock-b850m-c-am5,-gskill-flare-x5-series-16gb-ddr5-6000,-computer-build-bundle

Like the other guy said , PSU is important so don't cheap out there especially Apevia is a bad brand for that stuff. SSD wise maybe the small price addionally might be worth spending considering it has DRAM cache and has more performance I mean less likely to slowdown. Which makes it also more reliable and less annoying.
If you got a cooler you could save that, GPU wise my advice is look used 5050 is not a good gpu. Case wise this should be more ideal since you already use mATX so why not getting a okay priced mATX case that also performs not bad.

But I’m willing to see how much it will cost and see if I can make it work
Familiar-Archer-6042@reddit (OP)
But also idk if my gpu would have a bottleneck from the upgraded cpu

Thank you. This helps a lot

Apevia PSU and RTX 5050; let's go back to the drawing board.
For $800 I would go with something like this instead with a 9060XT + the same $199.99 MicroCenter bundle.

yeah that makes sense but im trying to get it to wrok for under 800 including tax with the 800 and to me it looks like you arent including taxes

I don't know your tax rate, but this allows for up to 10.3% that should cover most of the US.
In these budgets, we have to balance every dollar and pick our compromises.
Bad-PSU, the PC could self destruct.
Weak GPU, you'd be paying $300-$650+ for an upgrade.
Weak CPU, you'd be paying $100-$250 for an upgrade.
Not enough storage, you could buy a big hard drive for $50-$125.
My preference is start with the best GPU you can afford, so that it's the last thing you'd need to replace.
Compared to the CPU/GPU, the storage is the cheapest to upgrade later so it's the first I'd skimp on.

But thank you for the suggestion

and also why does the new case matter
