I was with a bunch of older adults and I was shocked to realize they all seemed to think these were 'fake news'. I mean I've known plenty of people who have struggled with mental illness. I've known close friends who've done this kind of stuff, and it's 100% not in their best interest, likely in front of security cameras and they face serious consequences. All for what, like getting cut off in a parking lot for one friend and thinking the person was 'evil'.
So it doesn't seem even remotely far fetched that in this political environment where Trump is literally destroying the country, and you hear that type of talk constantly, that someone mentally ill would take this way too far.
