Yep. It was a great happening, not for other reasons, but just to see how braindamaged normie cattle are.
Had a morning car drive talk about it with this older genx normie engineer, and he just couldn't fathom why I didn't and never would get the jab.
When asked if it provided immunization and why even take it if ot doesn't.. He just broke down but couldn't find some arguments, he was just repeating the cope bullshit from tv.
I know I'm interacting with ragebait, but I'll give my experience that reinforced why I got it.
Before I had the jab, when I caught it, I was out of commission for 5 days. I fully lost my sense of taste and smell. After the jab, I got it twice more, and it was a normal fever.
For things like the flu, it's never been worse than a sore throat, or a stuffed nose. This is because of the vaccine.
To use a car related example to relate to your own comment, vaccines are like airbags and a seat belt. You might survive a crash without them, but you'll get a lot more fucked up then if you had them.
You have 0 proof about the subsequent times, "twice more" you describe as "normal fever" are from the jab, and not from your body adjusting after the 1st time you got it.
You are just a mindbroken npc parroting the propaganda you have 0 proofs about.

Abd you are parroting the narrative, inadvertently or not, you are spot on repeating the mainstream normie slop.
That doesn’t negate the effect of the vaccine, infection is still possible but often is then much less aggressive or even totally asymptomatic. You can still have an effective vaccine without it being a miracle 100% cure of the disease, especially with a virus as widespread and genomically unstable as Covid. It mutated a lot since it was pandemic, nowadays it’s just causes a cold in most patients. The dangerous strain killed itself off by killing its hosts. Why did you not get the shot if it meant possibly having a less severe and potentially asymptomatic infection? Were you worried about side effects? Depending on the vaccine you got the risks were still minimal, and you’ve probably had a very similar vaccine before in your life if you live in the US.
Hey buddy, what's a field you have a high level interest in or degree in? I want to go on an unhinged, smug and totally uninformed rant about something in said topics.
Wow, you caught a disease a second and a third time, and your body was more resistant to it? Must have been that magic potion that you got injected with
You're right, we can stimulate it artificially. In fact, with every single other pathogen we vaccinate against, we stimulate it so well that we become effectively immune to the disease. For some reason though, this sugar water with one month of R&D that Pfizer got a massive government contract for and that everyone was required to get only makes it so that you hypothetically would have gotten it worse if you hadn't bought these magic beans
My man really bought the vibe posting that every other vaccine is a magic forcefield. It's not even close to that, especially not for short incubation diseases.
You do know there was more than 1 covid vaccine right?
hypothetically
And let me guess it's impossible to find out?
Let me also guess, seatbelts and airbags only hypothetically help people?

Was the lockdown necessary...? Fuck if I know, probably not to that extent
I work in the medical field, in January of 2020 we had this patient who was an 80 year old woman with dozens of comorbidities she needed to have surgery an knew she probably wasn't going to make it out. She comes to us to pretty much say goodbye after decades of working with her. Sure enough she passes away on the surgery table. Causes of death? COVID.
Another man, 350 pounds, 4 heart attacks, diabetic, infection in his foot. Goes to hospital for chest pains. Cause of death? COVID
68 year old guy gets hit in a car accident, head trauma, collapsed lung. Cause of death? COVID
I stopped believing in the COVID pandemic one month into the lockdowns.
I'm an actual doctor and from what I've seen, people who say "I work in the medical field" instead of actually specifying their position, are usually hospital janitors, stretcher bearers, aides, orderlies, porters, etc. In short all manner of auxiliary hospital staff without medical training, that try to pass off their job in a hospital as actual medical knowledge, usually as an attempt to lend credibility to some of the most regarded opinions you can hear about the human body or medicine.
Then your a fucking idiot. I'm in a very specialized field that only a handful of people in the world do, which makes me very easy to track down. I'm not putting that shit on reddit especially when it's an unpopular opinion.
Yeah bro we totally believe that, especially when you can't even type with proper grammar and when you get offended at a legit term like "auxiliary staff". You're basically proving to us you're at most some xray tech.
Cold and flu disappeared from the public discourse, not from existence, regard. Plenty of people got sick from them even during Covid, and it was very common to have both at the same time.
Cold and flu did basically disappear for a year or two. I remember it being reported at the time. Not because it was being diagnosed as Covid though- we have tests for that, but because the masks and hand washing and social distancing stopped the spread.
It’s not Covid, it’s just misdiagnosis. Those people had preexisting health conditions that got shoehorned into the Covid hole probably because other people at the hospital had Covid. But saying Covid doesn’t exist as many dropped like flies because of it is just insensitive and stupid to say
True for some hospitals maybe. I personally know two nurses who were let go from their hospitals in summer of 2020 because the hospital was basically empty and couldn't afford to keep those two nurses.

In terms of keeping infection rate and scale low so hospitals had space to treat people, it was necessary. Imagine a town with a hospital capacity of 2000 and 30,000 people needing intensive care and respirators. Not going to go well.
That being said, if it happened again now, I am very unsure whether governments would do the same thing. It has absolutely fucked us for years.
