They didn’t, that’s true. Although Home and Taking the Long Way are both incredible albums, most country fans won’t ever know it :’( I’ve seen them twice in recent years though and they are as good as ever. Their new music is meh as far as themes go, though. Really leaning into the “pussy hat” audience.
