A320 vs 737 takeoff - am I mad or are they very different

I'll preface this by saying I know nothing about aviation, I'm just someone who likes oohing and aahing over big shiny aircraft, and who flies short haul every couple of months.

I'm UK based and generally fly Easyjet or Ryanair. The former uses A320s, the latter 737s. And the takeoff difference in the two to me is so noticeable that I, just a Joe Bloggs passenger with no real knowledge of planes, could easily tell you which I was in if I was blindfolded.

The 737s seem to be slower going down the runway, the force from the engines is barely noticeable whereas the a320 seems to absolutely roar with power, and taking off in the Airbus somehow feels more... solid? If that makes sense. I had a lifelong phobia of flying until a few years ago when I forced myself out of it but still get a bit sweaty palmed during takeoff. Yet it only seems to happen when I'm on one of my Ryanair flights because takeoff feels slower, weaker, more wobbly and less... stable and firm somehow, while when I've flown Easyjet or Wizz it's felt like we've absolutely barrelled down the runway and physically felt the power of the engines as we rocket upwards a lot more.

Apologies for the silly question, absolute layman's terms and probably awful description, but I've noticed this over the past year or so and am wondering if it's a specific thing to do with the way the different engines work, the build of the plane, or just my imagination.
