Where can I listen to ATC

I pass by EWR on my commute to work. I would like to listen to ATC, as I pass by. Is there any android app or mobile friendly site that would let me listen for free?

LiveATC.com but the audio is delayed about 5-10 minutes. You can also buy a police scanner and input the frequencies of the local ATC you want to listen to. Aircraft in the air may be difficult to hear depending on how far away they are from you.

The audio delay is like 5-10 seconds, not minutes.

Sorry, you're right. I play the audio from LiveATC while watching FlightRadar24. I have it reversed, FlightRada24 is delayed.

Flight Radar isn't delayed from my experience watching aircraft taking off and landing at airports. I have always found it to be pretty much real time.

Flight Radar definitely isn’t delayed. I can hear/see an aircraft nearby and immediately see it exactly where it is in real time.

Remember that ALL APPs are a live stream. Someone within the reception area with radio equipment is providing the audio feed.
If you JUST want to listen to EWR and really only when you’re nearby, pick up a simple cheap scanner like a Uniden SR30 or even 2nd hand if you want and the frequencies are listed on sites like RadioReference.com. You don’t need ANY bells or whistles for ATC, it’s all AM frequencies and broadcast completely in the clear.

Arguably better clarity and reception and doesn't rely on streaming off the internet while you're on the move.

LiveATC is the usual go-to and they do have an app, at least on Android.

Can confirm iOS has an app too

Is that a rock band?

LiveATC.net
The biggest and easiest place to start.
Website: liveatc.net
Has hundreds of airports worldwide.
Note: Most UK airports are restricted, but you can listen to some UK-related feeds (e.g., Irish, European, oceanic).
Good for Heathrow/ Gatwick approach areas when relayed from pilots' radios rather than tower.
