Actually, about 90% of those 'grounded' aircraft have by now received the necessary software upgrade, so your sensationalist post is both inaccurate and outdated.
Also, this has already been reported to the death since yesterday.

Solar radiation my ass... They've still got the gremlin hat occasionally mislabeled an altitude data packet (Code AL) as an angle of attack (Code AA) and are trying various ways to reject the bad packets... There was a Mayday episode about that a year or so ago...
