Is this shockwave?

I couldn’t figure out what the vertical lines of distortion were and it drove me crazy during the flight. Yesterday I saw a post with a similar visual and it turns out it’s a shockwave. Mine looks slightly different but probably the same thing?

Very interesting, never seen that. I was ready to say that it's your phone's image stabilization and something on the window, but it moves a bit too much for that, and the window frame seems stable.

It is crazy how tall it looks. On the top edge on the engine pylon it's also visible

Just looks like that the supersonic airflow ends behind the slats and the visible shockwave looks a lot more like a wall, as seen in this illustration.

It's an a380. I guess that's why it's so tall.
