Hi,

I’m a Británico currently 4 months into living in DR. I’m mid 20s & took a 7 month break from my job in the UK to experience life here with my GF. I‘ve been sick of England for a number of years & feel quite happy here so far.

But the main looming concern is work. My long term goal is to create content on YouTube but it takes time to build to a good level. In the meantime, I have the savings to invest or live for a good few years. But if there is no working prospects here at all as a foreigner, it makes it hard to commit to moving. And I don’t like the feeling of eating into savings. I hear of people working remote abroad but is there anything that I can just pickup quickly? I don’t mean to get rich or anything like that but just decent jobs so that I can get by here? I have work experience from 18-now in customer service nothing too crazy in terms of skill
