Stockholm, 3 months in update

A bit more than 2 months ago, I made a post saying how much I loved my new life in Stockholm. Some said I was typically in the honeymoon phase. So I want to make a little update.
I still love living in Sweden. Aside from the cold and the grocery costs (ouch), I really feel at home there. Honestly, I don't even want to go back to France once my exchange is completed. While I miss my family and my dog, I don't feel lonely at all there. My fellow students and neightbors are very nice. I feel more included here in 3 months than I did in France in the last 2 years.
Study-wise, my university is very tame compared to what I used to. Classes are fairly easy, it feels like I'm studying at a 50% pace while getting all my credits. So, pretty nice so far.
My only grief is that the language is kinda hard to learn, everything is kind of expensive and the wheather (which, is to be expected, it's Sweden). I do not know If I am still in the "honeymoon phase". But I am pretty content with my life in Stockholm right now.

Lol, give it 3-4 years. That is for any country or place you move to

I had a great time as a student in the UK at Oxford, I spent several years there and still long to be back in those days. But I wish I had left sooner once I started working. I was in the honeymoon period my entire education and I had about 2 years of honeymoon while working in London and travelling around Europe. After those 2 years my wife and I spent far too long trying to make it work in the UK and looking back I wish I had left when I graduated or after those 2 years of working. I really regret spending so long in the UK looking back on that time.
I think as a student you could have a great time in Sweden for years and it could continue if or when you start working there. Just be open to moving again, even if not back to France but to another country. I wouldn't worry about the honeymoon ending or anything posters here warned you about. As a young student there really isn't much worry about anything, realities of the world are still not yet at your door.

I agree, but honestly it just sucks to work everywhere. I've worked in three countries and was unhappy everywhere. How I wish I could be a student forever.

Some people in the comments really want you to be miserable, jeez. It sounds like you took a step out of your comfort and it paid off. I'm so proud of you. Enjoy the hell out of your new chapter, whether it's temporary or not. Good luck!

Ohhh samee I don’t know y I felt more included in Sweden than in France. Maybe it’s because they speak English. (I’m from Asia

I think you’re going to really dislike Sweden once you start looking for a job.
Source: partner is Swedish and lives in Stockholm and I’m really pondering staying here to work in the US because the unemployment rate is so bad there.

So far so good. I have big jackets, thermic undershirts and gloves/scarfs/hats

It's the darkness that I'm referring to mostly. Don't forget your vitamin D supplements

Yeah, it's crazy to me that everything is pitch black by 16:00. And I guess it's only going to get worse
But I already bought some supplements so it should be fine.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it, Sweden's uni life can be really nice depending on your colleagues, however, once you transition to work life things will be much much worse, very competitive market and many work colleagues have no morals unfortunately so it can feel very lonely.
Either way that is not the reality for everyone, I just wanted to paint a picture of what a long term life in Sweden could look like.

Of course ! I am aware that Sweden as a student and Sweden as a worker is different. I know the housing and work market here is not comfortable (not to mention the political climate).
But as a student, it's a very nice place. At least compared to how it is back in France for me
