How do you keep track of finances spread across multiple countries?

I’m curious how others handle this.
I’ve lived in a few countries and ended up with bank accounts, investments, pension funds, and cards scattered across places. Keeping track of everything (mind you not huge sums of money lol) is more annoying and tedious than I expected.
Do you use spreadsheets? A specific app? Notion? Or just wing it and check accounts occasionally?
Would love to hear what’s working for other people living abroad.

Try floosy.ai Supports multiple currencies, voice commands to record transactions, friends split transactions.

Spreadsheet works the best for me

Spreadsheet and I close whatever I can without penalty.

I need to figure this out because I want to keep my "main" Canadian credit card open which means making a small purchase every few months (like a Steam game) and paying it off right away. I don't want to have to resort to international money transfers just for that but I guess I'll see what I can do.

Notion makes sense and then fully automate the consolidation.

Excel spread sheet allows you to keep it segregated and tallied whatever way you wish.

Google sheets. Each account has its own tab in the local currency. I have a main tab(s) where it's all converted to the same currency

I convert everything to our main currency and keep track that way.

I have added all my accounts into one app as external accounts. I can see balances and transfer funds into my main account that way.

I've got banking and cards in two countries and recently added a third. Thus far I've just been of the "keep an eye on balances as the notion strikes me" school but it seems inevitable I'll have to figure out a better solution going forward, so I'll be curious what people recommend, too.
