I’ve lived in Milton Keynes pretty much my whole life but I also don’t like going outside much lol! I want to support more independent businesses, specifically bookshops, does anyone have any recommendations in or around the MK area??

The Snug in Olney is absolutely lovely

Seconded. Amazing what the proprietor manages to cram into that place - it's a treasure trove!

Book in Leighton Buzzard is a lovely little independent spot. Staff are sound and good to talk to about recommendations if you’re not sure what you’re after.

Is this on the high street?

One of the little alleys off the high streets opposite Costa. You should see the sign walking up the high street.

Not necessarily an indie bookshop but the charity/second hand bookshop in wolverton by tescos has a wild variety for a second hand store

Age UK is the charity. I'd also give a shout for the Willen hospice one in stony.
