Question about your mural

Hello from Bristol.
I see you had a mural/art piece installed in a train station which is a busy place.
We also got a mural installed in a busy place in the city centre.
It's having a commemoration ceremony in a couple of days, but the mural is having to get some touching up, because it hasn't lasted a month.
So I was wondering if yours is holding up, and if so, what type of paint/material was used?

I've just walked across the MK one and it's already got black scuff marks from bikes etc. I would hope it won't actually get scraped up though.

I walked over it Thursday and patches have been tapped around that go down to the concrete already, and anti slip coating has been applied last week as someone slipped and broke their arm

Kind of insane that they didn't think of that before someone broke their arm 🤣

Still feels really slippy - someone is really going to hurt themselves. No doubt they will close the underpasses off, again..

Just waiting for all the ground frost to really fuck some people up, not clearly thought out laminating a gradient
Danack@reddit (OP)
From the pictures I've seen, the ground seems pretty flat. If it is flat, it must be very slippy for someone to lose their footing.

The painted part goes down the slope to the underpasses on both sides

Yeah, it's painted with glossy stuff. It's probably the worst kind of paint. I'm told this painting cost £100,000.. Nice

That doesn't sound good. You'd have thought something like that would be properly designed and specced to last and be safe.

I'm a little surprised that no bellend has tagged it yet with said moron wuz 'ere or some other daft 13yo wannabe gang name.

I don’t think we, as a city, know what paint was used. That’s a question for the artist or council.

Oi OP, the link your put is for Bristol..

Such a waste of money!
