I skimmed through this on YouTube awhile back, mainly because it was 2-1/2 hours. I found time to view it entirely after this posting. I applaud your efforts to examine XWP's role in so many contexts, most of which I found illuminating and still remarkable to someone like me born a few years before the first TV show aired. An awesome amount of research and tying it to representative XWP scenes. I felt you truly got the show's appeal on so many levels. You conveyed your perspective and biases, while including examples of what did not appeal to you personally. Plus, your humor and iconoclasm made this forever XWP fan feel right "at home," in terms of reflecting a big part of what I love about the show itself. Thank you for your work and sharing it here.

This is my old video essay about Xena's place in the history of action women and queer women on screen.
Posting it here for archival purposes! Hope you guys enjoy. ♡
