My gpu came with this split connector thingie

As i said my gpu came with a cable splitting the 16 pin to 2 8 pins but my psu doesnt come with those, is it fine to use the 600 watt 16 pin cable that came with my psu to power the gpu?

If your PSU has a 16 pin cable already, then you don't need the split connector thingie.

That's only for power supplies that don't have the new connector.
