How would you rate Comedy of Eroes as a comedic episode?

I really felt for Joxer's pain at the end when he realize that Gabrielle didn't really love him in the way he hoped.

Because of the end scene with Xena touching Joxers shoulder in a *I understand and Im so sorry* manner and Joxer cries a little I dont like this as a comedy episode...its more of Greek tragedy.
My #1 comedy episode has to be The Quill Is Mightier, comedic GOLD throughout the entire episode. It has everything, Minia, Aphrodite fighting with Ares, Joxer THE MIGHTY, fishing, helping the needy, stealing from a king, AND THREE NAKED GABRIELS!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

7/10. Not my favorite comedy episode (that would be Been There, Done That) but a decent one.
As a whole I felt season 2 started really strong with perhaps the longest streak of good episodes in any season but it definitely fell off after Day in the Life. Comedy of Eros is probably the strongest of those last 7 episodes though.

I loved the comedic episodes. This one is so much fun! My favourites are “Old Ares Had a Farm”, “A Day in the Life” and “The Quill is Mightier”! I really liked how they wove these lighter moments in. Without it, the show - which is already dark in nature - feels too heavy.

Lmao I'm sorry but Gabrielle being so earnestly 'in love' with Joxer is hilarious, especially when she says "are you talking about MY MAN?"
It's a great episode, definitely one of my fav. And Xena asking Cupid to leave Draco that way was wild but... it comes back to bite her in the ass 😂
